Thermoplastic tube is a commonly used material in electrical and instrument automation installation. It mainly uses its heat shrinkage to make an insulating sleeve for exposed metal wires. For example, after the wires and joints are welded, the welded part is exposed and not insulated. For this reason, you can choose a small piece of thermoplastic tube (based on the fact that the thermoplastic tube can be smoothly inserted), put it on the weld, and use a hot air gun to heat the "heat shrink tube". The shrinking thermoplastic tube will tightly seal the interface. The "shrinkage ratio" of the heat shrink tube is very large. Even a 6mm heat shrink tube can cover a 1mm wire sleeve, which is very convenient. According to the size of the actual welding circuit wire, choosing a suitable thermoplastic tube is more conducive to the insulation sleeve of the metal wire.
