How often do household CNG Hoses need to be replaced

The replacement cycle of household CNG Hoses is directly related to gas safety. Ordinary rubber hoses have a short service life. Due to long-term gas corrosion, high temperature baking and frequent bending, they are prone to aging, cracking, hardening and other phenomena. It is usually recommended to replace them every 18 months. Overuse may cause gas leakage, fire or explosion accidents.
Metal corrugated hoses have a significantly longer service life of 8 to 10 years due to their wear resistance, corrosion resistance and strong flexibility. Its outer stainless steel material is not easy to be bitten by rats, and the inner food-grade sealing material can effectively resist gas erosion, greatly reducing safety hazards.
In addition, the use environment of the CNG Hose will also affect the replacement frequency. If it is installed near heat sources such as stoves and water heaters, or in a humid and poorly ventilated space, the aging speed of the rubber hose will accelerate, and the inspection cycle needs to be shortened. Once cracks, bubbles, hardening, etc. are found on the surface, they should be replaced immediately regardless of how long they have been used. It is recommended to regularly apply soapy water to the hose interface to check for leaks to ensure home gas safety.
