What Should I Pay Attention To When Installing The Test Pressure Hose

When installing a Test Pressure Hose, there are several key points to note, as failure to do so can affect test results and potentially pose safety risks.
First, ensure the connectors are compatible. The connector specifications of the Test Pressure Hose must be identical to those of the test equipment and the component being tested, including thread type and diameter. Improper connections can result in leaks, either liquid or air, leading to inaccurate test data.
Also, pay attention to the installation angle. Avoid excessive bends in the hose, especially near the connector. A narrow bend radius can squeeze the hose, restricting fluid flow and potentially shortening its lifespan. A bend angle of at least five times the hose diameter is generally recommended.
Also, ensure proper securing. After installation, secure the hose with clamps or brackets to prevent pressure fluctuations during testing, which could cause damage to other equipment and prevent the connector from loosening.
Finally, after installation, inspect the hose by first passing low-pressure fluid through it to check for leaks. Only after confirming that there are no leaks can a formal pressure test be performed. This will prevent future problems with the Test Pressure Hose.
